TAG Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 wins "Best Concept Watch" Award at the SIAR (Salon de Alta Relojeria) in Mexico

TAG Heuer head of development Guy Sémon joined CLA General Manager Christian Weissbach in Mexico City for a presentation on Engineering challenges in watchmaking : "Mastering Speed". Two days later, on October 6th, TAG Heuer was awarded "Best Concept watch" for its Mikrotimer Flying 1000, distancing Christophe Claret's 21 Blackjack and Parmigiani's Bugatti Super Sport.

Presented in Baselworld 2011 as a Concept Chronograph, the Mikrotimer Flying 1000 will be issued in a limited edition of 11 pieces at the occasion of the Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie de Genève 2011. 10 of these watchmaking wonders will be commercialized by the end of the year.
